About this clinic
CAREMAT Foundation in Chiang Mai is a community-based organisation dedicated to promoting the rights and quality of life of gender-diverse people through health services that are friendly, comprehensive, and free of stigma, especially for men who have sex with men, transgender women, and sex workers, who can be seen free of charge.
The foundation serves with an understanding of the diversity of identity and sexual behaviour, designing services to suit its target groups, including HIV and STI testing, counselling, mental-health support, PrEP and PEP, HIV self-test kits, and support for continuous access to treatment.
CAREMAT also campaigns to build understanding of gender in society, promotes non-discrimination, and creates safe spaces for groups often overlooked. (Members of the general public outside the main target groups may face some service fees; please ask the foundation directly for details.)
