About this clinic
Sisters Foundation, Pattaya centre, is the first foundation in Thailand established to genuinely meet the specific needs of transgender women. Known as a transgender community centre, it is a safe space built on understanding, respect, and support for transgender identity.
Founded in June 2004 by Population Services International, a pioneer of transgender women's health and rights in Thailand, the foundation provides a range of services: HIV and syphilis testing, hormone testing, mental-health counselling, referral for PrEP and antiretroviral medicine, and free condoms and lubricant.
Beyond health services, Sisters campaigns for transgender rights, works proactively with the community to change social attitudes and reduce stigma, and is a centre of hope and encouragement for transgender women across the country, because Sisters is a family that lets no one walk alone.
